Dirt particles, suspended solids, and 99.91% of bacteria will be retained on the outside of the membrane, while pure water molecules successfully penetrate into the hollow fiber core and are then distributed as clean water products (permeate).

3. Periodic Washing Phase (Backwash & Air Scouring)

To ensure that the membrane pores do not become clogged by the buildup of retained contaminants, the system is equipped with technology. Air Scouring and CIP cleaning pump (Clean-In-Place). Air and cleaning fluid will be sprayed periodically to remove pollutants from the membrane surface. 

This automatic washing process ensures optimal product flow rate stability, namely 1.0 to 5.0 m³/h per membrane, while securing the water recovery rate (recovery) which is very efficient in the range of 90% to 95%.
