Pre-packaged Modular Water Treatment Plant for Quick and Efficient Installation

The demand for clean water in industrial settings continues to rise as production targets increase. In the business world, time is a very valuable asset. Building a conventional Water Treatment Plant (WTP) certainly takes a very long time.

Today, modern industry has a far more practical alternative solution. Packaged modular WTP technology is here to address these challenges. This system offers an extremely fast, ready-to-use installation process (plug-and-play). Your factory no longer has to wait months to receive a high-quality supply of clean water.

Key Advantages of Modular Systems for Industry

This system is fully assembled at the manufacturer’s plant. The units are typically placed on steel racks or inside shipping containers. Adopting this technology offers many advantages, including:

1. Very Fast Installation

Civil work at your plant site will be minimal. The technical team will only need to connect the water inlet and outlet pipes and the electrical system.

2. Saves a Lot of Land

Space constraints are often a challenge for factories. Modular systems are designed with highly efficient space planning. These facilities can be installed even in a corner of a limited-space lot.

3. High Mobility

Its compact design makes it very easy to move. This system is ideal for mining, oil drilling, or construction in remote areas.

4. Easy to Expand

This system is highly adaptable to business growth. If the factory needs additional capacity, you simply connect new module blocks in parallel.

How the Packaged Modular WTP Works

Although compact in design, the modular treatment system still features a complete filtration process. Here is its main workflow from start to finish:

1. Raw Water

Raw water is pumped from its source, such as a river, lake, or deep well.

2. Coagulation

Coagulant chemicals are added to the water flow. Their function is to neutralize the electrical charge on suspended particles of dirt.

3. Flocculation

The water is stirred gently while a flocculant is added. This process causes small particles of dirt to bind together into larger, heavier clumps (flocs).

4. Clarifier

The water is then directed to a settling tank. Hydromaster uses a Clarifier unit with inclined plate technology (inclined plate settler) to accelerate the settling of sludge flocs to the bottom of the tank.

5. Multimedia Filter

Clean water at the top of the tank flows through a filter tube containing various layers of sand and carbon media. This stage removes any remaining suspended particles that have slipped through.

6. Ultra Filtration

Water is forced through a Ultrafiltration (UF) using a hollow fiber system (Hollow Fiber). This stage blocks 99.9% of bacteria and makes the water very clear.

7. Reverse Osmosis (Opsional)

If a factory requires pure, mineral-free water, the water will be further processed using Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes.

8. Storage

Clean water that meets industry standards is stored in special storage tanks.

9. Distribution

Clean water is ultimately distributed via a pumping system to various utility points within your plant.
