High TDS levels will quickly cause stubborn scale buildup in high-temperature machinery, such as boilers. To reduce this, plants must implement advanced filtration-based water treatment solutions. Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems are the most reliable technology for filtering out dissolved minerals and drastically lowering TDS levels.

3. Biological and Chemical Contamination

In addition to physical and mineral particles, raw water is also highly susceptible to contamination by pathogenic bacteria or toxic chemical residues. These microscopic contaminants are extremely dangerous if they come into direct contact with the finished product. To address this, a precise sterilization system must be implemented at the final stage of distribution. Disinfection methods such as exposure to Ultraviolet (UV) light have proven highly effective at killing microorganisms without leaving chemical residues.
