Tekanan air akan turun drastis, dan mesin akan cepat rusak akibat penyumbatan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk mencegahnya, multi media filter hadir sebagai perlindungan tahap awal (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pre-treatment<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Selain itu, alat ini wajib digunakan jika nilai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Silt Density Index<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (SDI) air lebih besar dari 3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hal ini menjadi sangat krusial jika pabrik Anda menggunakan fasilitas membran lanjutan seperti <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reverse Osmosis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (RO), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nanofiltration<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NF), atau elektrodeionisasi (EDI). Para produsen membran umumnya mewajibkan nilai SDI air umpan berada di bawah angka 3. Tujuannya adalah untuk mencegah membran cepat mampet (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">premature fouling<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Dibandingkan harus sering mengganti <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">filter cartridge<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> atau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">filter bag<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> yang harganya mahal akibat air yang sangat kotor, menggunakan filter media jauh lebih ekonomis.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Cara Kerja dan Susunan Lapisan Media<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rahasia kehebatan multi media filter terletak pada susunan lapisannya. Media yang memiliki bobot paling ringan diletakkan di paling atas. Sebaliknya, media yang paling berat diletakkan di bagian paling bawah. Desain bertingkat ini memastikan partikel kotoran yang besar tersaring lebih dulu, baru kemudian partikel yang lebih kecil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebagai perbandingan, saringan pasir biasa umumnya hanya bisa menahan partikel berukuran 25 hingga 50 mikron. Namun, sistem multi media mampu menyaring kotoran dengan ukuran 10 hingga 25 mikron (bahkan hingga 20 mikron secara konstan). Apabila ditambahkan injeksi bahan kimia koagulan untuk menggumpalkan kotoran, alat ini sanggup menyaring partikel hingga sekecil 10 mikron.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Berikut adalah susunan lapisan media yang paling umum digunakan dari atas ke bawah:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Antrasit:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ini adalah lapisan teratas. Sifatnya paling ringan dan butirannya paling besar. Fungsinya adalah menangkap partikel kotoran berukuran besar.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Pasir Silika (<\/b><b><i>Silica Sand<\/i><\/b><b>):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Berada di lapisan tengah. Butirannya lebih kecil, namun bobotnya lebih berat dari antrasit. Lapisan ini menyaring kotoran berukuran sedang.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Garnet atau Gravel (Kerikil):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Lapisan ini berada di paling dasar tabung. Garnet sangat padat dan berat, sehingga sangat ampuh menjerat partikel paling halus. Sementara gravel biasanya digunakan sebagai penahan agar media-media kecil di atasnya tidak ikut lolos menyumbat saringan bawah.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Komponen Utama dalam Sistem Multi Media Filter<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kinerja penyaringan air tidak hanya bergantung pada lapisan pasirnya. Sistem ini juga didukung oleh berbagai perangkat keras mekanis yang tangguh, antara lain:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>1. Tangki Filter<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wadah utama penampung media penyaring. Materialnya bisa terbuat dari <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FRP<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stainless Steel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, atau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mild Steel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (baja ringan) yang sangat tahan terhadap suhu tinggi.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>2. Strainer Atas dan Bawah<\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strainer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> atas bertugas menyebarkan aliran air secara merata saat siklus berjalan. Sementara <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">strainer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> bawah menahan seluruh media agar tidak ikut keluar bersama air bersih.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>3. Valve (Katup) dan Pemipaan<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Valve<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mengatur siklus buka-tutup air secara presisi. Khusus untuk desalinasi air laut, sangat disarankan menggunakan katup berbahan non-logam. Untuk pemipaan, bahannya bisa menggunakan PVC atau pipa galvanis menyesuaikan dengan tekanan sistem.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>4. Controller<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ini adalah otak dari sistem filter agar bisa berjalan otomatis. Komponen ini bisa berupa PLC, pengatur waktu elektromekanis (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">timer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), atau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stager<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> digital.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>5. Flow Controller<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Komponen ini dipasang di saluran pembuangan air kotor (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">drain<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Fungsinya adalah mengatur derasnya laju air pencucian agar media tidak ikut terbuang ke luar tabung.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Perawatan dengan Siklus Pencucian (<i>Backwash<\/i>)<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agar kinerjanya tetap prima, filter ini memiliki kemampuan mencuci dirinya sendiri (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">backwash<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Aliran air akan ditekan terbalik dari bawah ke atas. Tujuannya adalah mengaduk media dan membuang seluruh endapan kotoran yang terperangkap ke saluran pembuangan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setelah proses <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">backwash<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> selesai, sistem akan melakukan pembilasan (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rinsing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).
