Namun, teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reverse Osmosis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (RO) membalikkan hukum alam tersebut.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sistem RO justru memaksa air limbah yang pekat mengalir menuju sisi air bersih yang bersalinitas rendah. Pemaksaan arah aliran ini bisa terjadi berkat adanya dorongan kuat dari pompa bertekanan tinggi. Itulah mengapa teknologi ini diberi nama &#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reverse<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; atau kebalikan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kunci kehebatan sistem RO terletak pada membran penyaringnya. Membran ini memiliki pori-pori yang sangat mikroskopis, yakni hanya 0,0001 mikron. Ukuran ini memastikan hanya partikel yang lebih kecil dari 0,0001 mikron yang bisa melewatinya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air bersih yang berhasil menembus membran disebut sebagai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Permeate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (air hasil). Sebaliknya, air kotor yang tidak bisa lewat akan dibuang sebagai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Concentrate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (air buangan). Artinya, dari keseluruhan proses ini, tidak semua air yang masuk akan menjadi produk bersih. Sebagian air pasti dialirkan keluar untuk membuang sisa kotoran.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Penerapan teknologi RO <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recycling <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">air limbah industri kini menjadi solusi andalan bagi pabrik modern. Air limbah pabrik yang tadinya berpolutan dapat berubah menjadi pasokan air murni yang siap digunakan kembali.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Tahapan Kerja RO <i>Recycling <\/i>Air Limbah Industri<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air limbah tentu tidak bisa begitu saja dimasukkan ke dalam membran RO agar tidak menyumbat sistem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>1. Injeksi Pompa Bertekanan Tinggi<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proses dimulai saat air limbah didorong menggunakan pompa bertekanan tinggi (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">High Pressure Pump<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Dorongan hidrolik ini sangat penting untuk melawan tekanan osmotik alami air.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>2. Pemisahan oleh Membran Semi-Permeabel<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air yang ditekan akan menabrak dinding membran RO. Di tahap ini, polutan, mineral terlarut, dan bakteri akan diblokir sepenuhnya oleh pori-pori membran.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>3. Pemisahan <i>Permeate <\/i>dan <i>Concentrate<\/i><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aliran kemudian terbelah menjadi dua. Molekul air murni yang lolos mengalir ke tahap selanjutnya sebagai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Permeate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Sementara itu, kotoran yang tertahan akan dibuang sebagai limbah cair atau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Concentrate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>4. <i>Post Treatment<\/i><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air yang telah murni biasanya akan melewati tahap akhir (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Post Treatment<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Tahap ini bisa berupa penyesuaian pH sebelum air murni didistribusikan ke mesin pabrik.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Perbedaan Spesifikasi Sistem <i>Reverse Osmosis<\/i><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dalam industri pengolahan air, sistem RO dibagi menjadi dua tipe utama berdasarkan tingkat kepekatan air baku yang diolah:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>1.<i> Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis<\/i> (BWRO)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sistem ini digunakan untuk mengolah air tawar, air payau, atau mendaur ulang air limbah industri.
